The Four Essential Courses

Over the course of the last two decades there has been a rapid proliferation of content online and in various institutions that has affected the faith of many Muslims by way of introducing destructive doubts about Islam (shubuhāt). Seeing the rise of this phenomenon, Sapience Institute is pleased to present No Doubt: Finding Certainty in an Age of Uncertainty. This course will empower the caller to Islam with 10 effective strategies on how to deal with peoples’ destructive doubts and provide them with a firm grounding in the foundations of the Islamic worldview.

The Beginners Guide to a Godless World is a course designed to provide the essential intellectual and spiritual elements required for the caller to Islam (da’ī). It will tackle the root causes of why so many young Muslims struggle with their faith or leave Islam altogether. The Muslim mind in the West is conditioned from an early age to see the world through the lenses of ideologies alien to God’s revelation. This course will not only deconstruct modern worldviews but will help those beginning their da’wah journey to fortify their understanding of the Islamic worldview (tawhīd). It will empower them on how to effectively navigate the world we live in as confident strong Muslims and prepare them to effectively convey its message.

We are in need of a holistic approach to the dawah, Awakening the Truth Within is a course that provides just that. It addresses the rational, existential, phenomenological, experiential and spiritual aspects of the dawah. All rooted in the Quran and Prophetic traditions. This course will also cover the fiqh of dawah, the characteristics of the caller, the role of the innate disposition (fitrah), knowing God before calling to Him, how to awaken the truth within, and much more.

Many people are accepting Islam but many are leaving too, and the number one reason for this is that New Muslim support is lacking. In an effort to tackle this problem we have developed our New Muslim Mentorship training. The objective of the course is to prepare you to become a mentor for new or renewed Muslims. It will prepare you to think about the obstacles and difficulties you may face, how to develop your relationship with them, and how to continue to support them, either as an individual, or as part of a team. The course provides a number of resources to support you on this journey, and is linked to our Lighthouse Mentoring Project where you can get free 1-2-1 support from one of our current Lighthouse Mentors.

Please note that the courses require a minimum of 5 hours to complete and can be delivered over 4 to 5 days, depending on your preferences. We offer flexibility and can tailor the course schedule to meet your specific needs.

Sapience Institute will be delivering these courses in person across the UK, EU and around the world. Although you can request individual courses, we highly recommend that you opt for the package as each course is designed to address a specific and vital need of the community today.
