Empowering people to defend and share Islam intellectually

Hamza Andreas Tzortzis, CEO of the Sapience Institute, and Fahad Tasleem, Head of Sapience USA, will be touring Malaysia and Indonesia with four primary goals:

1.⁠ ⁠Educate and Empower: Through lectures, seminars, and workshops, they aim to equip individuals and organisations with the knowledge and skills needed to intellectually present and defend Islam. This includes (a) offering reasoned and spiritually grounded responses to modern ideologies, such as atheism, secularism, and liberalism, and (b) fostering interfaith dialogue, critical thinking, and practical skills for effective da’wah (Islamic outreach).

2.⁠ ⁠Build Strategic Networks: Achieving our vision requires collaboration beyond any single organisation. An Allah-centered mission is best fulfilled when like-minded individuals and organisations work together, sharing resources, supporting each other, and learning from one another. With this in mind, the team will strengthen existing relationships and forge new partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure the sustainability and growth of global da’wah.

3.⁠ ⁠Engage with Media: By participating in podcasts and various media platforms, they will extend their reach to a global audience, sharing content that educates, empowers, and inspires. Recordings of these programs will serve to inform and transform audiences worldwide.

4.⁠ ⁠Scholarly Engagement: Based on previous relationships, engage with scholarly councils and groups to provide strategic support to ensure the growth of Islam on an intellectual and social level. Through our formal academic relationships work towards completing academic projects including the accreditation of the Sapience learning platform.
